Egypt - Coptic Cairo
Had a few hours 'till the tour meet and greet so decided to jump in a taxi and have a look around the Coptic area...
Kim, outside the church of St George - yup, the one who goes around slaying dragons.
The Coptic church seems to be a very old part of christianity that split from the catholics even before the orthodox went. Like that matters.
Here's an old Roman tower. Ever bugger's been through here at one time or another.
Bit of a fancy gate, here.
This was weird - a beautiful wooden, er, thingy on a falling-down house.
This the famous hanging church - cos it was built on stilts to keep it out of the occasional floods.
Some of the piccies around the place.
