Eldorado
Eldorado was probably not named ironically after gold was found in the area. What we did find out though, was that there is this bloody-great mining dredge parked around here. Let's go for a look-see.
There it is. It works like this; it floats - yes, really - in a pond. As it digs out the front of the pond, it chucks dirt out the back filling in the bit it's done already - after seperating the gold out, of course. That way, it travels around the countryside in it's own little self-made lake.
Apparently, when going full-bore, it was very noisy indeed.
These are the buckety-things that hauled up the gravel for seperation.
