KL - Petronsas Tower

As it goes, the hotel is just down the road from the Petronas Tower. Looks to me like a photo op and a good excuse to visit the second tallest building in the world. If it's good enough for Sean Connery, it's good enough for me.

There it is, taken from the hotel room.

Here's us doing the Asian 'I haven't been there until I've had my photo take there' thing.

Me too.

You can go up the tower, and it's free, but they only let a few hundred people in a day and it's first come, first served. As we are essentially both bone idle, all the resulting pics are from ground level.

There's a shopping centre underneath, Xmas is coming, and it has a nice roof.

There's all the happy shoppers.

And out the back...

...there's a park.

Every afternoon, the clouds come in and it rains.

And the tower looks real good at night.

What better way to remember our trip than by getting a tower model - now proudly erect in our living room. The fish on the left is a fruit. That looks like a fish. Or something.
