Manly vs St George - Major Premiership Clash

Sooo, St George have a late showing in the Rugby League Comp and made the Final Series(*). This is the story of their downfall.

* OK, for all you non-Aussie / Yanks, this comp is thusly:

- For the first part of the season all the teams play in a quite straight-forward league. This is the Rugby League Competition and whoever wins is called the Minor Premiership Champion. Nobody cares.
- The top 8 teams then go into the Final Series which is like another league (except it isn't because you can be knocked out) - look, just stay with me on this one - but those placed higher at the end of the Rugby League Comp get bys and so don't have to play so many games to get through to the Finals (which are the actual finals) - nearly there - so they have less chance of getting knocked out. Which is better. This is a whole lot easier to understand if you've taken a shed-load of drugs.
- Whoever wins the actual final is the CHAMPION (which everybody cares about) and are EXCELLENT.
- None of the finals games are particularly exciting so they have dancing girls and fireworks, which is nice.
